OBC HONORS GRADUATING CLASS
Sheffield Village, OH: On Saturday, July 24, 2010, the Sheffield Village campus of Ohio Business College held its Graduation Commencement Ceremony to honor graduates from the 2010 Winter and Spring Quarters. The 1:00pm ceremony was held at the Church on the Northcoast in Lorain where family and friends honored 86 graduates.
The ceremony opened with a welcome from Vice President, Rosanne Catella and an invocation given by graduate Dawn Brown. State Representative of the Ohio 57th District, Matt Lundy, assisted in the ceremony as the announcer. OBC graduates, Carol Ann Guggenbiller and Carlett Spraggins were selected as speakers while the closing benediction was delivered by graduate Kimberly Marie Boesken.
The audience was addressed by guest speaker, Haydiee Perkins Burkes. Burkes is currently employed as a secretary/assistant to the director of Special Education for the Amherst Exempted Village School District and has also served as Business Services Representative with the Workforce Institute of Lorain County. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Tiffin University and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Legal Studies.
