Career Services

Ohio Business College provides a full range of employment services for our graduates such as job placement skills training focusing, on high impact job search techniques, penetrating the hidden job market, conducting the winning interview, negotiating salary, and landing the offer! Our Student Resource Center provides job search materials, career fair information, resume and cover letter critiquing and individual career counseling. OBC students can register by signing up at the Career Services Assistance office located within the campus.

Our Career Services staff offer a variety of workshops designed to assist students in achieving academic and personal success in their career choice. Ongoing activities involve employer and student interview engagements, coursework designed to effectively conduct a successful job search, and support resource referral sources to support an effective job transition.

Career Counseling services are provided through personalized one-on-one career counseling sessions. Career assessments are utilized to help students identify skills, interest, personality and values as they relate to an academic program or career.

Our reputation is something we pride ourselves on, which gives OBC graduates an advantage. Career Services networks with area companies personally, delivers resumes, and works individually to meet the employer’s needs. Many positions are filled by our graduates before topening is even advertised !
